Hot Crab Spread

of an 8-oz. tub cream cheese with garden vegetables

1  6 to 6 -oz. can crabmeat, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed

2  T. sliced green onion

1  t. lemon juice

t. dried dill

Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce

Assorted crackers


In a small saucepan heat cream cheese over medium-low heat until softened. Stir in crabmeat, green onion, lemon juice, dill, and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes more or until heated through. Serve warm with crackers. Makes about 1 cup.
