The Rise of a Mighty King

Yahshua died a painful death,
everlasting life He brings,
just hear the angels tell us
of the 'rise' of a mighty King.
They spat on Him
and cursed our Lord,
He quietly bore their beatings,
so our sins could be atoned for,
with the ' rise' of a mighty King.
He shed His precious blood,
that we sinful human beings
might have a chance to live again
by the 'rise' of a mighty King.
O grave, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?
Soon you'll be no more because
of the 'rise' of a mighty King.
I pray to be in His
presence fair,
my spirit holds such longing,
to be with Him forevermore,
praise the 'rise' of a mighty King.

“Why seek ye the living among the dead. He is not here; He has risen, as He said.” (Luke 24:5)
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:20-22)
"O grave, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:55)
There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. (1 Corinthians 15:40)
