Special Note From Baby!
My daughter, Shelly (Michele Lin), had gone to my Mom's house earlier in the week to help her clean house. My Mom's house is FULL of junk my Dad's brought home over the years! Of all things, Shelly ran across the following letter that I had written when I was pregnant with HER, when I was 19 years old!!! I didn't remember ever having written it (since I'm now 56!), but here is the contents of that letter... I couldn't resist sharing it with you!
Dear Grandma & Grandpa,
Mommy went to her
Obstetrician today, and he confirmed me. I should be here in late
December. Daddy told Mommy last nite that he gets his orders in October,
and if he is stationed anywhere except here, Mommy will have to stay with you.
Is it ok? That means I would be born there. If Daddy is stationed
in the USA he will also be spending Christmas with you all. Well, I'm
going to close bow & write my Great-Grandma & Auntie.

P.S. The doc says Mommy is healthy. He gave her some super strong
vitamins & a free dental appt. (she says uh-oh to that)
PPS. Mommy says you'd better write, Grandma!!! She also says to
tell Sherry. Tell Sherry to write.
How odd is THAT... that in a house full of junk, Shelly HERSELF should run across that letter!
