Pastor!
Do
you think that the Temple Mount will be returned to the “Palestinians”
briefly? From what I understood from Scripture, once the Jerusalem was
back in Jewish hands, it would stay there. Am I wrong about this?
Even knowing that what’s going on between Olmert and Abbas is fulfilling
Father Yahweh’s plans, and knowing what the eventual outcome is going to be,
this whole situation makes me want to vomit! Back to pre-1967 borders???
“Occupied” land??? How can you occupy something that was (a) given to
you by the Almighty Himself, and (b) land that was won fair and square in a war
that defied all odds??? It truly burns my heart as a Christian and a lover
of the Jewish people! I can’t WAIT until He chooses to show His full
power so they will know once and for all that HE is God, and not Allah!
I’ll
answer your other email in a bit… I just wanted to share this with someone who
understands my feelings on this matter.

Dear sister,
What the Word actually states and teaches is that the coming
Antichrist will make a seven year covenant [peace treaty] with the Jews,
supposedly giving them peace for that entire time. During the first 3 1/2
years the Jews will rebuild their Temple and begin animal sacrifices again [with
the help of the Antichrist]. Whether they are granted full and sole rights
to the Temple Mount, which Moshe Dayan relinguished to the Muslims in 1967,
remains to be seen. The Scriptures do not say. It is entirely
possible that the Temple will be rebuilt along side the Dome of the Rock in a
compromise between the Jews and the Muslims. I just don't know.
However, I do know that their supposed seven year "covenant" will be
violated at mid-trib by the Antichrist and his followers. The last half of
the Trib will be a concerted effort by the Antichrist crowd to exterminate every
living Jew from the face of the earth. That [mid-trib] is when the Jews
flee to Petra where the Lord protects them during the last half of the Trib.
As far as the Palestinians [Phi-lis-tines], I seriously doubt
that they will ever be given the Temple mount, and I know they will never have a
so-called "Palestinian State." It will never happen! What
God's Word does clearly state is that the Palestinians shall be totally
destroyed; rooted out of the earth. By the end of the Trib there will not
be a Palestinian [man, woman, boy, or girl] left alive on the face of the
earth. They will cease to exist as a race of people.
Sister, Olmert is one of the "Judas Jews" talked
about in Daniel 11. He would sell his own soul if he
thought it would bring him political gain and power. Of course the
west bank is not "Occupied territory." That whole scheme and
term was promoted by the one-world liberal news media. Every
nation in history kept the territory they won in war, annexing it to their own
nation. But when it comes to Israel, this wicked world system trots out a
whole different set of rules. Israel merely gained back the land that was
stolen from them centuries ago, and they have a God given right to keep it.
It is the wicked world politicians [especially the U.S.] that keeps
insisting that they give back the "Occupied territory." Sic!
God's Word is very plain that He is going to bring judgment upon every nation
and people that "part His land." That includes the U.S. of
America, whether people want to believe it or not. The only territory that
Israel is occupying is that which belongs to them by title deed from Almighty
God Himself. The fact is, according to the "everlasting
covenant" that the Lord made with Abraham, renewed with Isaac, and
confirmed with Jacob, several other nations are "occupying" land
that belongs to Israel. That includes Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, part of
Egypt, and Iraq. Whether the political leaders of this present world like it
or not, Israel will have every square inch of land that God promised them when
this thing is over. And I have good Scriptural reasons to believe that
they will receive it during the next 8 years. Praise the Lord! "Even
so, come, Lord Jesus," Revelation 22:20.

Oh,
OK! I don’t know WHERE I got the idea that once J’lem was back in
Jewish hands, it would stay there??? Who know? J
I know one possibility is that people, in trying to determine when the prophetic
time clock began again, and how long a generation is, some have said the clock
restarted when Israel became a nation in 1948, and some say it restarted when
J’lem was back in Jewish hands (time of the Gentiles, etc.). I understood it
to be when Israel became a nation (the fig tree budding again), but may be
missing something.
The
double standard is amazing! As you say, any other nation on earth, if they
won land in a war, it would be considered theirs, with no questions asked…
but not Israel!
I’ve
come to that conclusion myself with Olmert. I understand Netanyahu would be a
WHOLE lot better of an idea, but who really knows. The world in general is in
that stage where they call what is evil good and what is good evil, so who
knows??? Goodness, Pastor, I pray we won’t have to wait 8 years… I am
SO ready!!! The 8 years you’re referring to… does that include the 7
years of Trib?

Dear beloved sister,
Both time periods are right! 1948 was when the Fig Tree put forth it's tender branch and leaves. Study Job 14:7-9. In 70 A.D. both fig trees of Israel were cut down exactly as John the Baptist had prophesied [Matthew 3:10]. But the root [Jewish people] that made up the tree never ceased even though the stock died [political Israel; the nation] in the ground [the earth or world]. In 1492 while Columbus was discovering America, Johannes Gutenburg was printing Bibles on his newly invented printing press. Suddenly anyone [including the Jews] could own a copy of the Bible and read it for themselves. The Bible contains the spritual "water" that feeds the soul of man. ".....through the scent of water..." [the promises of God to Israel] the old root pushed it's way up through the soil and the tender "bud" appeared again, finally bringing forth "boughs" [a branch; political structure]. The nation was reborn among the nations of the earth. Immediately little Israel was plunged into it's war of independence. Jews came from all over the world to help fight Israel's war of independence. The tender "branch" was putting forth "leaves," Matthew 24:32; Mark 13:28. The leaves show growth occurring. When Israel declared itself an independent nation among the nations of the world on May 14, 1948 there were only about 350,000 Jews in the Holy Land. They had no army, no air force, no big guns, no tanks, no military equipment, and they were taking on a hundred million Arabs who had vowed to destroy them. But they won the war and their "tender branch" had put on a 100,000 leaves. Their population at the end that war was 450,000. Praise the Lord! That began a 40 year period which ended in 1988 with the Rapture 88 Movement which was clearly prophesied to occur in Habakkuk 2:2-4.
