Teresa's mother, Ofelia Costello, first asked for prayer for Teresa about a year ago. We began talking, and I found out from her that Teresa was a year younger than my baby girl, Shelly.  Her request really touched my heart, and I have been praying for Teresa and Ofelia ever since.  She told me that she and Teresa were very, very close, like Shelly and I are.  Her health went up and down during that year, until July 5, 2005, when Teresa went to sleep.  Below are Ofelia's words on that day.

My prayers and love are with you, Ofelia, and to Teresa's husband and children.  May the Lord comfort you as He did me when I lost my week-old granddaughter, Nicole, 12 years ago.  There is absolutely nothing better than His comforting hug, believe me!

(Ofelia's words)

This morning (7/5/05), after a beautiful morning, at 10am, Jesus came and took Teresa.  She had a pulmonary embolism, the nurse had just sent me out of her room, so they could help her to the potty.  When Teresa stood up, a blood clot, took her life.  Teresa is 31 years old, with 3 children 8, 6 and 5.  They kept Teresa there until, Michael could get him self together to tell the kids, and bring them to see her before, they took her body to the mortuary.  My baby is gone, she'll always be in our heart.  Her sudden death, broke down her doctor and her chemo staff.  She made an impression on everybody she talked to.

Teresa's viewing will be Tuesday, July 12th, 4-8pm.  Her funeral is 10am, July 13th.  At Desert View Funeral Home and Mortuary | 11478 Armagosa Rd. | Victorville, CA.  760-244-0007. North on the 15, exit Bear Valley, turn left and another left on Armagosa, it's runs on the west side of the freeway.  It's after all the restaurants.
