My Weight Loss, 2007-2009



I quit smoking on June 2, 2006.  As with most people, I really put on the weight after that.  By November, 2008, I had decided I was sick and tired of not being able to wear my clothes any more, and decided to do something about it!  I talked to my doctor and asked him if he would prescribe Phentermine (diet pill) for me, because my coworker's wife had such good results when she took Phentermine. He agreed, then in December 2008, I began walking the stairs in my work office.  I began by walking up 80 stairs, then down 80 stairs.  If I walked all the way down to the first floor to check the mail, I was walking 200 steps.  The first week in January, I began walking up 96 stairs, then down 96 stairs.  The results of the Phentermine and the exercise were phenomenal!  I have now lost 30+ pounds, and my clothes are a whole size smaller... halleluYAH!!!  Below are some before & after photos of my weight loss program!  Love to you in Him!  Peggy

OK, now I realize the photo below has nothing to do with weight loss (well, I don't know, I may have lost a little in my fingers too... ha!) but this is what I did with my fingernails for Christmas.  I painted them green first, then Richard suggested I put Christmas tree ornaments on them, so I did... with the red polish.  Actually, they looked VERY pretty!  I LOVE glitter polishes and colorful polish, etc.!
