The Lord's begun to separate
the wheat from amongst the tares;
it's becoming quite clear these days,
you can see it everywhere!
All these years God's let the tares
grow side by side with the wheat.
And He will allow it to be that way
'til His plan for the Church is complete!
Jesus is He who sows good seed,
the world we live in's the field.
At the end of this age we'll see
what crops His harvest will yield.
Then one day soon at the Rapture,
when our Savior at last returns,
the wheat will meet Him in the air,
but the tares will be gathered and burned!
As long as you're a child of God,
you've no reason to fear or despair.
And when the angels swing their scythes,
make sure you're not one of the tares!
