What Makes Us Worthy to be Raptured?

"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36)

Below is an email I sent to a GF who was frightened that she might not be counted worthy enough to be taken in the Rapture.  I pray it will give you hope and will let you KNOW that if you are His, you WILL go!  Love, Peggy.

My pleasure, GF!  There's NO way I would allow you to be frightened of our Lord when I know better!  As for the Rapture, I'm not sure WHERE they get the idea there's more than one Rapture of the Church, but there is not... there is only one.  And those who go in the Rapture are true, born again, washed-in-the-blood Christians... ALL of them! (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

If you are born again, you WILL go in the Rapture, I assure you!  The Trib is for a few reasons:

1.  He will be turning His focus back to the Jews, and basically "cleaning house".  The Jews are STILL His chosen people, as are Christians.  The Jews who are born again, will go in the Rapture of the Bride.  The remaining Jews that don't believe in our Messiah will be here on earth for the Trib.

2.  To cleanse the earth of all unrighteousness.  The Trib is to TRY ALL people left on earth (the unsaved; apostate church).  There is NO reason for Him to put His cherished Bride through the Tribulation, plain and simple.  Our faith in Him and Father Yahweh are what saves us.

In the beginning, before sin entered the world, God had specifically told Adam & Eve that they could eat from EVERY tree in the Garden except the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil that was in the center of the Garden.  He told them that IF they disobeyed and ate from that Tree, they would DIE THAT DAY.  Keeping in mind that to the Lord, a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day, no man since then has lived to be 1,000+; the oldest man to ever live was Methuselah, who lived to be 969 years old (aka, not quite a day).  And sure enough, they died before they were 1,000 years old.  And He said that because of that original sin, ALL would die (physically), because "The wages of sin is death."  And since God always keeps His word, that is what happened.

Before Yahshua was crucified and resurrected, man had to sacrifice animals for their sins, and follow a very rigid LAW routine.  But since that time, that's no longer necessary, since He was the perfect sacrifice for us.  He died so that we could have eternal life, simply for having faith that He is our Savior and that He was a worthy sacrifice (which, being pure, He definitely WAS).

As of the time Yahshua died, for simply believing with all our heart that He is our Savior, all sins were paid for past, present and future.  And there is NOTHING we can "do" to make ourselves worthy of eternal life and the Rapture.  He gives us those things as a result of our Faith.  Once we accept the Sacrifice in FAITH, the Holy Spirit moves into our bodies, and resides with us the entire time we are in our fleshly bodies.  If you have been born again, and have the Spirit within you, you ARE worthy, and you WILL go in the ONE RAPTURE!  The Spirit then SEALS us until the day of Redemption (Ephesians 4:30).  So you are safe if you are His... for good!  I don't think it's even POSSIBLE to run the Holy Spirit out of us, even if we tried!

Read this article the Lord told me to write:

The verses I used in that article should give you great hope. Yahshua died so we could live... plain and simple.  When He returns, He returns with His saints... all of us.  None of us that are in human flesh are perfect or sinless or worthy of our own accord.  His blood MAKES us worthy.  Our acceptance of Him MAKES us worthy.
